As some know, my youngest is in the incoming ‘21 class. Most of our recruiting was through Elbin. Really couldn’t read the Skipper until they got us in right before the recruiting rules changed. This was in the spring of his freshman year in high school (senior now). My boy was their first 2021 offer and when he committed that day, their first 2021 commit. Was the first time I saw Coach Szefc smile. He and Elbin are a perfect Yin and Yang. My son got Covid early and Szefc called every day to check on him. They talk every week. I texted briefly with the coach today. He was so absolutely genuine offering his appreciation that our family shuts down to watch VT on ACCNx. I have believed in Coach Szefc from day 1. He is the man to lead us to Omaha
